Moving Ethos Dance Company
Founded in 2008, Moving Ethos continues to be defined as accessible, intimate dance theatre. With the use of untraditional spaces to reinforce that dance can and should exist anywhere, the company offers affordable and often free performances for the community. Unique projects and performances ensure that nobody and no body is excluded from the powerful impact that movement holds. Moving Ethos aims to connect with the audience through themed choreography that is both relevant and socially conscious.
Through performances, education and community outreach, Moving Ethos works to stretch the boundaries of people’s minds and bodies to unite our community in movement. The company encourages both the audience and the participants to use dance as a tool to effectively communicate, build relationships and positively impact the world.

What We Do...
Performances & Projects - formal concerts in traditional places, informal shows in unusual spaces, producing concerts for local artists, youth performances in the community
Education - offering an array of classes and choreography to schools, studios, colleges and universities, both to the professional bound student and the community
Community Outreach - workshops, classes and performances targeting the youth and under-served communities designed to enlighten and inspire through the art of movement

Moving Ethos is a non-profit 501c3 corporation whose funding comes from grants, performances and donations from people like you! Any kind and amount of your support is always appreciated so that we can give back as much as we can to our community. Donating is easy and it is a write-off on your taxes. Here's how to donate:
